ABOUT NHÀ CỦA BIN

Amidst the vast Pù Bin mountain range, where white clouds drift lazily, embracing the mountain peaks and gently sweeping over the golden terraced fields, the Community-Based Tourism Project Nhà Của Bin was established from a profound love for this land and its people, and the aspiration to fully preserve the rich, distinctive values of the local culture.

Situated at an altitude of nearly 1,000m above sea level, the climate is cool all year round. In the early days of winter, the traditional stilt houses of the Thái people merge into the mist, perched precariously on the mountainside, seeming to float. That is the reason for the name Bản Bin, from the founding of this land. “Bin” in the Thái language means “to fly.” Bản Bin means “The Flying Village”. And Nhà Của Bin is the House of Bin village, the “heart” that connects the community, preserving and spreading the indigenous cultural values.

Nhà Của Bin – Your Home Away From Home!

Return to pristine nature, where visitors can breathe the fresh air saturated with the scent of the earth, sky, and plants.

Return to simple values, where every dish carries the flavor of the mountains and forests, and every activity – agricultural experiences, cooking lessons, traditional handicraft making – is fascinating and rich in highland cultural identity.

And most importantly, it is a journey back to oneself – to rediscover deep stillness and peace within the soul.

Come and experience the Community Based Tourism Project Nhà Của Bin, where you could feel the warmth of human kindness in every smile, and find the “true home” in your heart!

COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY

The journey of Nhà Của Bin always goes hand-in-hand with the pulse of the community. We believe that tourism is only truly meaningful when it brings sustainable value and is coupled with the responsibility of preserving, maintaining, and promoting traditional cultural values.
Our responsibility is to be a bridge, bringing visitors closer to the indigenous culture in a respectful manner.
We are committed to developing tourism based on a community foundation, placing local people at the center.
As a pioneering Community-Based Tourism Project in Bản Bin, Nhà Của Bin not only creates more jobs for local residents but also actively guides and supports families in the area to convert their homes into homestays, helping them increase their income and develop their economy.
By the end of 2025, Bản Bin already had 3 families converted their homes into homestays. Along with the 11-year commitment of the Co-Founder to the village, there are currently 6 homestays operating in Pù Bin who are serving tourists, with a total capacity of over 200 visitors.
By creating livelihoods, prioritizing the use of local produce, and preserving the architectural and cultural heritage, we hope that every visitor to Nhà Của Bin is not just a participant, but also a contributor to preserving and spreading the unique cultural beauty of the Thái ethnic people in Pù Bin.

OUR JOURNEY

The journey of Nhà Của Bin is a series of “blessed” connections, woven from love, dedication, and perseverance. The predecessor of the project was a beautiful 8-year journey by the Co-Founder to build the tourism foundation for Pù Bin commune, starting from Nà Phặt village and Nàng village.

In 2014: The majestic, pristine beauty of Pù Bin and the genuine kindness of its people planted the seed for building a distinct community tourism model – a shared “home” to spread community value. And from 2014 – 2020, the first project was established and operated sustainably by the Co-founder in Nà Phặt village.

Early 2022: Bin Village emerged as a new focal point for the aspiration to develop livelihoods for the local people, and created the prototype foundation for the Community Tourism Village project.

Late 2022: Nhà Của Bin construction began, carrying the vision of a close-knit, cozy, yet unique community tourism and retreat destination, rich in ethnic identity. The construction process strictly adhered to principles of respecting nature, maximizing landscape preservation, and using local materials and architecture.

April 2023: Nhà Của Bin officially opened its doors to the first guests. At this time, Nhà Của Bin had 2 private rooms and 1 communal stilt house.

January 2024: Nhà Của Bin completed its expansion and brought Block I into operation, increasing the capacity to 5 private rooms, 1 stilt house, 1 kitchen, and a dining area.

May 2024: Nhà Của Bin opened a representative office in Hanoi, facilitating better connections with domestic and international tourists to the project.

Quarter II, 2024: Nhà Của Bin welcomed Block II with 2 private rooms and 1 communal stilt house, raising the accommodation scale to 7 private rooms and 2 communal stilt houses.

March 2025: The Commercial Service Cluster and Block III of Nhà Của Bin officially come into operation to meet the increasingly high demands for accommodation and service quality from tourists. This is a particularly important event, raising the total operational scale of the project to 13 private rooms, 2 traditional communal rooms, 2 restaurants and Bin’s Kitchen, with a capacity to welcome up to 100 guests.

April 2025: Nhà Của Bin Swimming Pool comes into operation.

August 2025: The Pickleball Court at Nhà Của Bin comes into operation.

Throughout the development journey of Nhà Của Bin, we constantly strive to meet every need of our guests, providing the best travel experiences for every visitor to this land and its people!

OUR TEAM

100% our team members are local residents. From the very beginning of the project, providing sustainable livelihoods for local people has always been the top priority and a core commitment of Nhà Của Bin.
We prioritize hiring staff from disadvantaged households, including poor and near-poor families, and strive to provide regular employment, helping them secure a stable source of income to ensure their lives.
It is this difference that allows visitors to Nhà Của Bin to experience professionalism that does not come from rigid standards, but from the genuine love and sincere hospitality of the local people themselves.
Every staff member at Nhà Của Bin is a storyteller, a cultural bridge between distant visitors and the mountains, forests, and villages.

FOUNDER

Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Cường

The Sower of the Nhà Của Bin Project!

With Mr. Cường, Xóm Bin is not just a destination, but a fateful encounter. From the first time he visited this land in 2022, he saw the hidden beauty of the pristine nature and the cultural depth in every stilt house, and every genuine smile of the villagers.
It was this passionate love for the land and its people that motivated him to develop the Nhà Của Bin project not just as a resort, but as a community tourism model, where people and nature are the main characters, and where culture is preserved, spread, and promoted.

Ms. Cao Thị Hồng Nhung

The One Deeply Attached to the Village, Building the Community!

If Mr. Cường is the sower of the project, Ms. Nhung is the persistent cultivator. She has had an 11-year deep connection with Pù Bin, a journey long enough to understand, accompany, and share.

Since 2014, she has participated in implementing many volunteer activities such as building schools, upgrading classroom facilities, libraries, and toilets for local homes, and connecting charity and non-governmental organizations with Pù Bin, bringing opportunities and quiet change to this land.

She is also the co-founder of the pioneering Farmstay project and community training center in Nà Phặt and Nàng villages.

With all the love and experience from her long-term connection with Pù Bin, she joined Mr. Cường from the beginning, selecting the location, and passionately building and operating Nhà Của Bin, as well as developing the Community Tourism Village model in Bin village.
