Detailed Itinerary
📅Day 1: Hanoi – Pu Bin
🌅07:30 Guests gather at the meeting point (Cau Giay transfer point), the vehicle will pick you up and take you to Bin’s House – located in a mountainous commune bordering Mai Chau and Pu Luong. Along the way, guests will stop at Da Trang Pass and have the opportunity to shop for local products.
Noon
11:30 The group arrives at Bin’s House, checks in, and enjoys Peppermint Tea – a handcrafted tea made from native mountain peppermint, naturally grown.
12:00 – 13:00 Lunch at the restaurant with sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes and Pù Bin grilled meat.
13:00 – 14:00 Rest at the stilt house.
🌄Afternoon
14:30 – 15:30 The group participates in a cooking and presentation activity of Buffalo Horn Rice Cake – a traditional Thai wedding cake, and Five-Colored Sticky Rice with Forest Leaves, and learns how to use a traditional mountain steamer to create five-colored sticky rice.
15:30 – 17:30 The group walks to visit Bin Village – known as the “Flying Village” with houses perched precariously on the mountain. The group walks along a trail to visit the houses on the top of Bin Village, takes photos of the panoramic view, visits the limestone caves of Bin Village, and takes photos of the most beautiful terraced rice fields at KM15 Thanh Son. Along the way, the group visits the village’s gardens, harvests mustard greens, picks corn, digs up potatoes, picks persimmons, collects chestnuts… (depending on the availability of the activities, guests pay for the agricultural products purchased from the locals) and interacts with the people. If lucky, they may be able to buy typical products of Pu Bin such as Pu Bin smoked garlic, rice wine, and free-range chicken eggs (products from the Pu Bin region are famous for their quality, as it is the only commune in Hoa Binh province that does not use pesticides).
18:30 The group returns to their rooms to rest.
🌙Evening
19:00 The group enjoys BBQ in the garden, grilling corn, potatoes, eggs, and drinking tea by the fire. Note: For groups of less than 5 people, dinner will be a set menu at the restaurant.
20:30 The group returns to the stilt house. If any guests are still awake, they can participate in a herbal foot soak and drink tea in the evening (costs are paid at the location).
The group rests at Bin’s House.
📅Day 2: Pu Bin – Visiting the village – Return to Hanoi
🌅Morning
In the morning, the group wakes up early to enjoy the cool mountain air.
07:00 Breakfast at the restaurant.
08:00 – 10:30: The group departs to go cloud hunting at the highest cloud hunting spot in Thanh Son commune (Pu Bin) and visit Sam Tang Lake – the largest underground mountain lake in Hoa Binh province.
Return to Pu Bin. If there is still time, the whole group will freely participate in activities such as cutting grass and feeding cows and ducks, and fishing at the lake. Free time for recreation.
Lunch
12:00 – 13:00: Lunch at the restaurant.
🚌14:00 The group departs for Hanoi, ending the trip.
